How fresh are the products?

We are early risers! We don't cut any corners all of our products are always prepared freshly on the day of your order.  

Where is your meat from?

We very carefully source our meats from a local supplier just a few miles from the shop and cook the meats ourselves in store daily.

What if we have dietary requirements for a buffet order?

We pride ourselves in offering alternatives for any other requirements and we always clearly mark these products and tray up individually. i.e. vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, nut free - please just mention this on check out when ordering your buffet.

What if a product is out of stock?

In the event of supply difficulties or with discontinued products, we reserve the right to offer alternative goods or packaging of equal quality and value.

What if I need to amend my order?

Please call the store and we will be able to help you 01642 561177 (between 6am and 3pm)

Freshness Guarantee?

Buffet Sandwiches should be eaten on the day of collection/delivery. All other products will keep for at least 2 days from the date you collect them.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash in store before your order is due. You can pay by cheque 5 days prior to your order. BACS payment Unfortunately we do not take card payments at the moment.

What shall we do with the buffet trays?

Please hang onto the buffet trays - we will take a deposit on ordering your buffet recording the number of trays, bowls, boards etc we have provided you with. We will call and collect them and and check they are all there providing they are - your deposit will returned to you.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes our minimum order is for 6 people unless specified higher on individual buffets.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery is free within 10 miles of our postcode TS23 4HE for orders over

Buffet delivery times?

On ordering please state time you would like your buffet to be delivered, we will always do our best to deliver close to your requested time but occasionally we will deliver your buffet earlier if we have a very busy delivery schedule.

What if I want something different to your menu choices?

We are always happy to tailor a menu to suit your needs and we can work with you and suggest ideas please email us directly at orders@theoldbutchers.co.uk and we will get in touch and discuss your requirements.
